What PonoHire is

PonoHire is a job board at https://ponohire.com where employers can post job listings and job seekers can browse them. This Privacy Policy explains what information this site collects, what it does not collect, and how you can ask for your information to be removed.

What we collect

When an employer creates an account, we collect the email address used for the account. A username is generated from that email address. When an employer posts a job, we collect the information included in the listing: the job title and description, the company name and logo, the job location, the job type, and the application email address or application URL provided for the listing.

We also collect anonymous job-listing statistics, such as how many times listings are viewed. These statistics do not identify individual visitors.

This site uses Google Analytics, through the MonsterInsights plugin, to understand how visitors use the site in general terms. It also uses CookieAdmin to show a cookie consent banner and to record your cookie consent choices.

What we do not collect

PonoHire does not collect payments, and it does not collect resumes or applicant files. Job seekers do not need an account to browse listings, and this site does not ask job seekers to upload application documents.

Moderation of new listings

New job listings are moderated. A listing stays pending until a site administrator reviews and approves it, and edits to published listings also require administrator approval.

How long listings are kept

Job listings are kept for a 30-day listing duration. After that period, a listing expires and is no longer shown as an active listing.

How to ask for your data or account to be removed

If you would like your data or your account removed, or if you have a question about this policy, please contact the site administrator and include the email address used for the account or listing so the request can be verified.

We will remove the account and its listings, or tell you if there is a reason a particular item cannot be removed.
